Here is what you missed last week . . .

It’s a “little” story about the U.S. War in Afghanistan.  The Washington Post put out a series of articles last week entitled, “The Afghanistan Papers.” A not-so subtle reference to Daniel Ellsberg’s famous revelation about the Pentagon’s “papers” during the Vietnam War. 

It may require some actual reading, but in case you’re interested, the series is about how you were systematically lied to concerning your $2 trillion in taxes that have been spent over 18 years, resulting in the deaths of approximately 2,400 U.S. service members.  (Oh, by the way, if anyone still cares, at least 43,000 Afghan civilians have also been killed in this war — based on lies.)

And now you know about the little story that two of the three major TV networks didn’t tell you about last week.
